Justin Cloyd
An Ohio native, Justin earned his BS in Architecture from The Ohio State University while minoring in City and Regional Planning. After working on a wide range of projects with a small Columbus firm, he came to Portland in 2007 to earn his Master’s Degree at the University of Oregon’s Portland campus.
Architecturally, Justin focuses on developing sustainable solutions that are user friendly and responsive to their time and place. Comfortable in all scales of design, his graduate thesis project developed an intertwined metropolitan light rail system, a 125 acre transit oriented development, and a sustainability center for central Ohio.
Outside the studio Justin enjoys college football, constructing almost anything, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife.
